Many individuals and organizations seek opportunities for assisting people in need. At Healy-Murphy Center over 50% of the students that we serve are either pregnant or parenting. Donations of diapers, store gift cards and baby food are always needed.
We are dedicated to helping at-risk youth overcome the disadvantages they face through educational and support services. Generous donors like you make it possible for our students to receive those services and continue their education. By making a financial contribution, you help underprivileged youth in San Antonio to become responsible, productive members of our community. Your financial gifts provide:
- Childcare for parenting students so that they may continue their education
- Two nutritious meals a day for students and children currently living in poverty
- School supplies for students including backpacks, pencils, notebooks, and more
- Teaching materials and individualized curriculum administered by qualified educators
- Technology resources including computers, printers, the internet, and basic software; all essential for obtaining employment in the 21st century.
- Books and other reading materials designed to improve the literacy rate among students
- Qualified staff to facilitate vital programs and services, including a Registered Nurse who runs the clinic
- General operating funds essential to ensuring that students can benefit from our services

Is someone you know celebrating a birthday or anniversary? Instead of struggling with a gift idea, simply send us a note along with your contribution with the name and contact information and we will gladly acknowledge the occasion.
Please keep in mind that Memorials will be acknowledged when you make them. This can be a wonderful way to remember someone on the anniversary of their passing or instead of floral tributes at the time of the funeral.
