St. Luke’s Lutheran Healthcare Ministries Funds Our Campus Clinic
Board member Helen West visited Healy-Murphy Center to personally present us with a check of $15,000 from St. Luke’s Lutheran Healthcare Ministries in support of our campus clinic. This important grant will make it possible to provide vital healthcare services and health education to underserved youth, including pregnant and parenting teens, in San Antonio.
HMC Student Secures Scholarship
Four Healy-Murphy Center students registered and attended the Alamo Colleges Young Leaders Conference at Palo Alto College.
Shawanda Davis, Student Council member, was awarded two scholarships: a $1,000 scholarship to attend an Alamo College next fall, and a $500 Texas A&M San Antonio transfer scholarship (to be awarded upon completion of her Associates degree at an Alamo College).

Our group served as road markers and navigated runners through the path to the finish. We are very proud of all of our student volunteers who gave of their free time to help others.
